What is Women Who Rise?
Women Who Rise is a year-round platform created to celebrate, connect, and elevate women making meaningful impact in business, community, education, faith, healthcare, government, entrepreneurship, the arts, and beyond. The Honors Gala is our annual signature celebration.
Who can be nominated for a Women Who Rise Award?
Any woman whose leadership, service, vision, creativity, entrepreneurship, faith, advocacy, or commitment to others is creating meaningful impact may be nominated. She does not need a prominent title, large business, or public platform to be considered.
Who can submit a nomination?
Friends, family members, colleagues, businesses, organizations, community leaders, and others may nominate a deserving woman. Multiple women may be nominated by submitting a separate nomination for each person.
What happens after a nomination is submitted?
Nominations are reviewed by the Women Who Rise team. Selected women will be contacted with next steps and may be asked to provide a biography, photograph, and other information needed for the recognition process. A nomination does not guarantee selection as an honoree.

The Honors Gala will be held Saturday, September 19, 2026, at 7:00 PM at the Asher Theatre & Conference Center, 3237 Waccamaw Blvd., Myrtle Beach, SC 29579

Businesses and organizations can participate through sponsorship, community partnerships, nominations, promotion, and other collaborative opportunities.
What is included with my gala ticket?
Your ticket includes dinner, the awards ceremony, networking reception, live entertainment, professional event photography, and the full Women Who Rise Honors Gala experience. Men, families, colleagues, organizations, and supporters are welcome to attend.
